We are excited to welcome a Teacher of Physical Education and Health to our growing department. While an experienced teacher would be a welcome addition, This role is also suitable for a beginning teacher, eager to develop their skills and make a positive impact on student wellbeing and physical development. Outdoor education experience could be an advantage.

Our PE and Health curriculum emphasises both physical fitness and holistic health education, encouraging students to build lifelong healthy habits and an understanding of overall wellbeing.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- An enthusiasm for teaching Physical Education and Health
- Experience and ability to work with and support Māori and Pacific ākonga
- A commitment to collaborative teaching and learning within and across curriculum areas
- The ability to establish strong relationships with ākonga and whānau
- A developing understanding of mātauranga Māori and its significance in Health and PE
- A desire to honour obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi
All members of our teaching staff also serve as Learning Advisors, guiding and supporting students in their academic and personal growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to shape learning and leadership through experiential outdoor learning.
